1597 ~ BRANDYWINE
80 Days. This Amish family heirloom dates back before 1885, preserved by pioneer grower Ben Quisenbury from New England. When he died at the age of 95, he passed these seeds to the Seed Saver Exchange. This was one of his favorites. Reddish-pink, large thin-skinned fruits grow on potato-leafed vines. Although these plants aren't free of disease these tomatoes are worth growing for their fantastic flavor. Ideal for slices, sandwiches and salads.
