1470 ~ HONEY ROCK MELONS.
82-87  Days.  Developed before 1920 by R.W. Richardeson, near Hickville Ohio.  An "All American Selection" in 1933.  Fruits are round, 3-4 lb with heavy netting.  Flesh is thick, sweet, firm and orange.  Vigorous plants produce 5-7 fruits and are resistant to wilt.  Good for northern areas.
